Oyáté ~ Humanity in colors a BEL-ESPRIT series

A street portraits series in vibrant natural colors, which delve into the daily lives of people around the world.

Workers, passers-by, artists, several anonymous faces captured with spontaneity in authentic and graceful moments.

Beyond the habits and customs of cultures, it is similar gestures, looks and interactions that unite us.

The term Oyáté, “the people” in the Native American language of the Lakota Sioux, illustrates this union in plurality. It signifies both the tribe and the rest of humanity, emphasizing the bond that unites individuals whether they are relatives or within a wider and more diverse group.
